Manager - Strategy
Job Summary
The Strategy Manager acts as the General Manager’s problem-solving partner, supporting Tameeni’s strategic priorities and quarterly OKRs. The role identifies business issues, develops data-driven recommendations, supports strategic initiatives, and works cross-functionally to improve business performance and execution.
Job Objectives
Support the delivery of strategic priorities and approved OKRs.
Identify performance issues, risks, and opportunities.
Provide structured analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
Support functions in planning and delivering strategic initiatives.
Improve visibility and reporting on business performance.
Job Responsibilities
Problem Solving & Analysis
Identify performance issues, bottlenecks, and risks across the business.
Conduct root-cause analysis on key business metrics.
Structure complex problems and develop data-driven recommendations.
Evaluate opportunities, solutions, trade-offs, and business impact.
Support the GM on high-priority business issues.
OKR & Initiative Delivery
Support functions in delivering approved quarterly OKRs.
Translate objectives into clear initiative plans, owners, and milestones.
Track progress, dependencies, and risks and help resolve blockers.
Prepare business cases and analysis required for key initiatives.
Consolidate initiative progress for management review.
Planning & Performance
Support annual and quarterly business planning.
Monitor performance against objectives and key metrics.
Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Develop clear management and Board presentations.
Improve recurring reporting and performance analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technology, and Customer Experience.
Align stakeholders on priorities, data, and required actions.
Connect commercial, product, and operational priorities.
Influence and drive follow-through without direct authority.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
Previous Work Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in management consulting, Strategy, or Strategic Planning.
Experience in insurance, insurtech, financial services, fintech, or digital businesses is preferred.
GCC experience is an advantage.
Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
Ability to build business cases and work with raw data independently.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to produce management and Board-ready materials.
Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic preferred.
Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or SQL knowledge is an advantage.
Understanding of the Saudi insurance market and regulatory environment is preferred
