Job Summary
The Finance Director will lead and oversee the end-to-end finance function at Tameeni, providing strategic financial leadership while ensuring compliance with the governance, reporting, and control frameworks established by Rasan Group.
The role will be responsible for financial planning, statutory and management reporting, financial controls, risk management, and commercial finance. The Finance Director will also serve as the main finance partner between Tameeni’s leadership team and the Rasan Group finance function.
Job Objectives
Provide strategic financial leadership and support business decision-making through accurate financial analysis, strong governance, effective controls, and reliable financial reporting.
Ensure the finance function operates in compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, Saudi tax regulations, Insurance Authority requirements, and Rasan Group policies.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Act as the primary finance business partner for Tameeni’s executive and operational leadership teams.
Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support commercial and operational decision-making.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities.
Represent Tameeni’s finance function in Group-level meetings and executive reporting.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with the Rasan Group CFO and finance team.
Support the development and execution of Tameeni’s financial and business strategy.
Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance
Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SOCPA requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure the timely completion of audit activities.
Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and other applicable Saudi tax regulations.
Coordinate with Group tax advisers and relevant external stakeholders when required.
Monitor changes in Insurance Authority financial reporting requirements.
Ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to Tameeni’s insurance brokerage licence.
Financial Controls & Risk Management
Design, implement, and maintain a strong internal financial control environment.
Ensure financial processes are properly documented and consistently followed.
Identify financial and operational risks and maintain an updated finance risk register.
Develop and monitor appropriate risk mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with Rasan Group financial policies, procedures, and authority matrices.
Escalate significant financial or control issues to the Rasan Group CFO.
Support internal audit activities and ensure the timely resolution of audit findings.
Monitor financial transactions and processes to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
Budgeting & Commercial Finance
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.
Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, and operational performance.
Provide financial evaluation and recommendations for new business initiatives and investments.
Support pricing, business cases, financial modelling, and commercial negotiations.
Provide management with clear financial reports and actionable recommendations.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and cost management.
People Leadership & Finance Function Development
Build, lead, and develop Tameeni’s finance team.
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and development plans.
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
Promote a high-performance and controls-conscious finance culture.
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting.
Improve the finance function’s reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.
Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP, financial planning, and reporting systems.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with executive management, operations, commercial, legal, compliance, risk, and internal audit teams.
Coordinate with Rasan Group finance, tax, treasury, and governance functions.
Maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, banks, advisers, and other external stakeholders.
Communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Support management and Board-level financial reporting when required.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
Experience
10+ years of progressive finance experience.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership position.
Previous experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or regulated financial services is strongly preferred.
Experience working within the Saudi Arabian regulatory and financial environment.
Proven experience leading a finance function within a high-growth or technology-driven organization.
Experience managing financial reporting, audit, tax, budgeting, and internal controls.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA standards.
Strong understanding of Saudi Zakat, VAT, and applicable tax regulations.
Knowledge of financial reporting requirements within regulated financial services.
Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
Experience with data analytics and reporting.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools is an advantage.
